The HSC Housing Solutions Center is Kitsap County’s coordinated entry point  for individuals and families at risk of, or experiencing homelessness. In the past a person or family facing homelessness had to find local resources, shelters, and housing programs ion their own.  This creates a barrier for many as the social service system can be confusing and hard to navigate.  A coordinated entry point reduces the difficulty for individuals and families to attain services including case management, access to emergency shelters, and transitional housing by creating a “one-stop-shop” single point to contact for all these services.  HSC manages the intake and eligibility screening, needs assessments, referrals to local resources.
